Eyebrow restoration AKA Eyebrow transplant, is a procedure which is done under a mild oral sedative and is intended to restore and/or modify the appearance of the eyebrows. It was initially intended for burn victims and patients of sicknesses that prevent hair from growing in the eyebrow region. Eyebrow transplant surgeries have since progressed into a cosmetic procedure favored by people wishing to have faultless eyebrows.
The donor hairs come from the back of the scalp which, when transplanted into the eyebrows, continue to grow for a lifetime and consequently need to be cut typically once a month. A procedure usually involves the placement of 50 to 300 grafts into every eyebrow, depending upon the existing amount of hair and the preferred dimension and density, eyebrow transplant has been an established procedure for some time now.
